Kelaker is an advisory business which helps restaurants to fulfil their full potential. This often involves reducing a brand's exposure to risk just as much as it might involve scaling it's operations. And after all, scaling doesn't always have to be up.

 

Kelaker is founded on unique and direct experiences - we have 'walked the walk'. In the 7 years between 2014 and 2021 Adam Blaker and Simon Kelsey led the development of the successful food brand, LEON. 

We act as the development arm of food brands and help restaurants grow strong.

WE HELP MAKE BRANDS ATTRACTIVE TO INVESTORS

Many conversations involve questions around funding and access to capital. Investors are attracted to brands that can demonstrate how to grow. We attract investment to brands in two distinct ways.

Firstly, by what we do. We apply a 'development arm' formula. We perform all the functions of the development arm of a brand. We formulate strategy, we assess risks, we improve property pipelines, we introduce franchise partners and improve the financial model of a brand. Remember, we have walked that walk.

 

Second, we have relationships with individuals and institutions interested in investing in food brands, whether they be family offices, venture capital or private equity firms.
